During 1977 and 1978, bassist Marino Pelajić, guitarist Mladen Jurčić, and drummer Branko Hromatko were Azra members when Branimir "Johnny" Štulić brought Jura Stublić as the new vocalist. Stublić was to become Aerodrom member, but due to his deep vocals it never happened. The lineup functioned for a few months only and after a quarrel with Štulić, on early 1979, Pelajić, Jurčić, Hromatko and Stublić formed the band Šporko Šalaporko i Negove Žaluzine, naming the band after a story from the "Polet" youth magazine, which was soon after renamed to Film. The memories of the Azra lineup later inspired Štulić to write the song "Roll over Jura" released on Filigranski pločnici in 1982.
Saxophonist Jurij Novoselić, who at the time had worked under the pseudonym Kuzma Videosex, joined the band, inspiring others to use pseudonym instead of their original names: vocalist Stublić became Jura Jupiter, bassist Pelajić became Mario Baraccuda and guitarist Jurčić became Max Wilson. Before joining the band, Stublić did not have much experience as a vocalist, however, since his father had been an opera singer, he often visited the theatre and opera, and at the age of 13, he started playing the guitar, earning money as a street performer at seaside resorts.
Beckett’s original choice for the lead – referred to only as “O” – was Charlie Chaplin, but his script never reached him. Both Beckett and the director Alan Schneider were interested in Zero Mostel and Jack MacGowran. However, the former was unavailable and the latter, who accepted at first, became unavailable due to his role in a "Hollywood epic." Beckett then suggested Buster Keaton. Schneider promptly flew to Los Angeles and persuaded Keaton to accept the role along with "a handsome fee for less than three weeks' work."James Karen, who was to have a small part in the film, also encouraged Schneider to contact Keaton.
The filmed version differs from Beckett's original script but with his approval since he was on set all the time, this being his only visit to the United States. The script printed in Collected Shorter Plays of Samuel Beckett (Faber and Faber, 1984) states:
The largest use of tellurium (Te) in the past decade or more has been in the manufacture of thin-film photovoltaic solar panels ... "With Cd-Te thin-film technology continuing to be a large percentage of PV solar manufacturing, the market opportunity for developing new tellurium resources has never been better.".
Solartek, a subsidiary of the Russian nanotechnology company Rusnano, has installed thin film solar roofs on three residential buildings in St ... The serial production of thin-film solar panels will begin at the SteelSun plant currently under construction in the city of Saransk, 650-km north-east of Moscow.
Japanese copper/indium/selenium (CIS) thin-film PV module manufacturer SolarFrontier, a unit ... Its higher weight, compared to the new monocrystalline product, depends on the use of the thin-film technology that, despite its lower environmental impact, gives birth to heavier panels.
More than 80% of employment derives from construction, temporary and casual work ...China’s incentives strategically focused on a singular mature technology — wafer-based silicon solar cells — which, while lower in efficiency than thin film panels, is more labour-intensive with enhanced employment benefits ... .

Midsummer, a Swedish BIPV module manufacturer and supplier of copper, indium, gallium and selenium (CIGS) turnkey equipment, has announced that it will provide U.S.-based thin-film manufacturer Sunflare with two more production lines for its panel factory in Nanjing, China.
Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline, and Thin-Film... Monocrystalline, Polycrystalline, and Thin-Film ... Thin-Film are the cheapest solar panel, are a very new technology development, appear black or blue in color depending on source materials, reach about 11% efficiency, and can be made with a variety of materials including silicon.
However, polycrystalline and thin film solar panels are also effective choices that are more affordable ...Monocrystalline products represent the best options available simply because they outperform both polycrystalline and thin film solar panels in both efficiency and power output.
Solar panels work best when installed in the direct sunlight offered by endless LA sunny days. So, if your roof is in perpetual shade from overhanging trees, your solar panels will produce slightly less electricity ... Polycrystalline panels are more affordable, and portable, lightweight thin-film solar panels are the cheapest of all.
Among the various strategies being developed, one tends to receive the most attention – renewable technologies, like solar panels ...There are some other avenues to explore, like graphene-based silicon panels, organic solar panels, or thin-film panels, but these will only introduce their own unique cradle-to-grave issues.
