I have heard many times that Light Soaking CIGS (Copper Indium Gallium Selenide) and thin film solar cells gives a permanent increase in output power up to 10%. This is achieved by the sun realigning crystalline structures in the substrate of the solar cell without a load attached. This is my experiment to test this theory and see if it's TRUE or FALSE. My test was a pass. Close to the end of the video I have a spreadsheet graph showing the before and after measurements from two solar cells I used for the test. The first solar cell was light soaked for 5 hours and the 2nd cell was kept indoors as a control. Both cells were tested initially together to make sure they were producing the same wattage output.
